Paid Event: Caftans & Cocktails Party - Amici Trattoria in West Mobile - Sunday, August 9th - 2pm-4:30pm

Join us for a Caftans and Cocktails summer mahjong party at Amici Trattoria Restaurant in West Mobile. The event is $39, paid directly to the restaurant on the day of the event, and includes a grazing table and one signature cocktail or glass of wine. Additional drinks are available for purchase. (Price does not include sales tax and 20% auto-gratuity). --Do I have to wear a caftan? No, you can wear whatever you'd like to celebrate the summer! Think colorful, fun, bold prints. But many of us WILL be wearing a caftan! --Can I sit with my friends? Yes, I'll send a Google Form a few days in advance of the event to learn more about your seating preferences so I can make sure you get to sit with friends. It's a good idea to coordinate with your friends in advance so that the 4 of you indicate you'd like to sit together. Based on past events, I am able to accommodate everyone's seating requests. --What if I've never played mahjong before? If you have never played mahjong before, let me help you find an upcoming mahjong 101 class so you can begin joining our free open play events. DM Rachel Helton for help. --I'm a beginner and still require guidance while I play. Should I come? Open play events are best for players who can play independently without guidance. I recommend attending a "guided play" event before coming to open play. Send a message to Rachel Helton on Facebook for help finding a guided play event. --Do I need to bring mahjong supplies? Bring your NMJL card and designate 2 people at your table to bring side tables. I'll send around a form a few days in advance of the event so we can determine who is brining tiles for your table.
