Join us for free American Mahjong Open Play! To Know: • Contact event host Lisa Taylor w/ Bam Bay Mahj (251) 367-0202 if you have any questions, table requests, lesson inquiries, etc. • Location: Tanner Williams Civic & Historical Society 13701 Tanner Williams Rd (Across from Tanner Williams Elementary School) Date & Time: Aug 17th 10AM • Cost: This is a free open play event. Donations for the Tanner Williams Civic & Historical Society are greatly appreciated. • NMJL Card: Please bring your 2026 National Mah Jongg League card. If you don’t have one contact Lisa so one can be provided for you. • Refreshments: Feel free to bring snacks or drinks for yourself or to share. If you’re able, please bring a small side table for your refreshments. No alcohol, please. • Seating: I will try my best to group players by experience level. Please make sure your account profile reflects your current skill level. Contact Lisa for table assignment requests after reserving your spot. • Player Experience: This event is intended for players who can play independently. Beginners are welcome, but it’s recommended that you’ve completed at least an American Mahjong 101 class. If you’ve taken Mahjong 101 but would like a little extra guidance during open play let me know and I’ll do my best to seat you at my table. • RSVP Required: An RSVP is required to ensure enough tile sets are available. Once we know attendance, I’ll reach out for volunteers to bring tile sets, etc. **If you need to cancel at any point -> please do so via the Bam Good Time website event. There is an option to "Cancel Reservation" when you click on the event. If there is a waitlist, this will automatically notify the next person of the open spot! ***Mobile Mahjong Cancellation Policy*** Cancel in Bam Good Time at least 24 hours before the event if you can no longer attend. Players who repeatedly cancel less than 24 hours before an event will (1) be contacted directly by Rachel (2) lose priority for future events and (3) will be moved to the bottom of the waitlist if an event fills. Waitlisted players who regularly attend events on time and have a history of reliable attendance will be given priority over players with repeated late cancellations. We understand that emergencies and unexpected situations happen. This policy is intended to address repeated patterns of behavior, not occasional unavoidable circumstances.
